Adobe Illustrator Workshop: Collage Character Design

This workshop is designed to support teachers looking to expand their Adobe Illustrator skills. Participants will learn how to create digital collage characters that respond to a given design problem. They will receive resources and engaging activity advice to take back into the classroom. Including strategies for integrating these skills with hands-on techniques such as frottage and mark making.

Women in Design: Event Highlights

This members only event was a great opportunity to experience and learn about the work of Nipa Doshi, Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo while mingling and making connections with fellow VCV members. With a curator-led talk and access to NGV Friday Nights it was a chance to get inspired and plan ways to integrate NGV Learn Programs into school learning experiences.

With a curator-led talk and access to NGV Friday Nights it will be a chance to get inspired and plan ways that you can integrate NGV Learn Programs into your school's learning experiences.

Sharing Approaches

The new 2024 VCD Study Design “unpacked”

 
Coming in February 2024 from Visual Communication Victoria, “Sharing Approaches” is a suite of resources designed by the VCD Teachers on the VCV Council to demystify the new VCD Study Design. The printable resources will outline the approaches that the experienced teachers from the VCV Council are interpreting the new study design while demonstrating how you can apply their knowledge into your own school context.

Individual resources for each Area of Study in Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 will be available to members throughout February.
